So many of you love the photos so the 'Picture This' category of our FFS blog is dedicated to just that.
The entrance to Loch Harport, the home of Talisker Whisky is impressive. The loch is long with the Cullins providing a spectacular backdrop.

Our first stop ashore was the distillery which I named one of my standard poodles after many moons ago.
Yanix Talisker Honey - wish mum was still here to share this day.

Reflections in a name.
We also walked the steep hill to find the hidden Oyster Shed where the views and food were superb.

We took the bus to Portree, the capital of Skye! Small but bustling in compared to the places we had seen over the last month or so. The cafe over looking the bay was a real find and the hotel in the square had the most quirky and creative idea to eating outside during covid times. Fully kitted out Greenhouses with table lamp, fan and music speaker. New private dining experience!
We walked 9 miles on a hot afternoon to see the Fairy Pools. So busy in August but managed to get a few shots without the crowds.

The Old Inn pub was really worth the night time dinghy ride and the views over the loch were easy on the eye too.
