Wow, it is an awfully longtime since I wrote a post on my Fearless Feat Sailing Blog, 7 whole months in fact.
There could be a variety of reasons why I have not written many blog posts this year. Some possible explanations could include:
Lack of time: It may be that I have not had enough time to write due to other commitments or responsibilities. Or simply I have been enjoying getting stuck into community life and learning new skills.
Writer's block: It is common for writers to experience periods of time where they struggle to come up with new ideas or find it difficult to get started on a writing project. For me there has been so much to write about that I never know where to start, so many prompts to get my creative juices flowing and therefore I end up in a flat spin which has strangely become the blocker.
Other interests or priorities: It may be that I have been focusing on other interests or priorities this year and have not had as much time or energy to devote to writing. Now this may be true as I have tried hard to prioritise and reinventing myself as a Kerrera Mystical Warrior with a dash of business flair and a whole lot of something not quite definable but certainly authentic.
Well I am back! Not that my life has slowed down just that I am going to be a bit more random in my writing, write - don't over think it, keep it short, less timebound, less structured and should I say just bloody more in my Tatiana Style! She is my inner goddess, mad as a hatter, fights like a warrior but with the grace of a dove.
So in a mad dash to share this years events - I choose not too, as yes, you have guessed it I will stall! Too many to mention so just a quick summary of why learning new things is so important.

Spending a year on a magical island with a fabulous community is an amazing and unique experience. It has given me a great opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture, meet new people, and explore the natural beauty of the island.
I have learned so many new skills, sheep whispering, graphic design, events management (AKA pull it out the bag in big sheds with spinnakers and blow up palm trees for the most awesome party of the year), posing as the auctioneers assistant (AKA selling tat for charity whilst acting the goat), article writing, becoming a Clarity4D business partner, being a waitress, kitchen assistant and buck-some barmaid. I have also learned how to swim in freezing cold waters with a smile on my face, cook more adventurously whilst also trying many new foods, learn about the island's history and culture, and making lasting memories with a wild and wonderful community. Learning new skills is fun and has been a rewarding experience that has helped to add variety and excitement to my life. It comes highly recommended!
One of the benefits of living in a community is the support and camaraderie that come from being part of a group of people who share similar values and interests. Spending a year on a magical island with a fabulous community has been one of the most enriching and rewarding experience that I will never forget.
Overall, taking time out to reinvent yourself can be a transformative and rewarding experience that helps you to live a more fulfilling and authentic life. Here is to more posts with my Tatiana flair and FFS attitude.
FEARLESS INSPIRATION
“Don’t let fear or insecurity stop you from trying new things. Believe in yourself. Do what you love. And most importantly, be kind to others, even if you don’t like them.” — Stacy London
