Entering Tinkers Hole is dramatic, the entrance does not open up until you nearly upon it. Which is a little unnerving as you are steering directly towards a rock face. Suddenly the gap appears! I wish I had taken footage on entry as the exit does not do it justice.
Leaving Tinkers Hole
This anchorage was our home for a couple of days and watching other boats come and go was entertaining as some areas had thick kelp and poor holding.
Our friends were here too and so of course we would go ashore to explore. However, this time access to the island was going to be a scramble. The island had nothing more than sheep tracks through tall ferns. We were certainly part of the "Where the f**k are we tribe" on this trek and we now call MC, Dora the explorer!

The trek held some super rewards though and the beaches were stunning. Gary wrote Sandpiper in the sands whilst I marvelled at the empty shore and the sound of the waves caressing the sand.

We enjoyed sunsets, curry, wine and great company once again. We have met up with friends in 3 anchorages this summer. What a small world, good camaraderie and heaps of stories to share . Who will we meet in Tobermory?

Lots of love until the next time xxx
